Welcome to the Alamo Military Vehicle Preservation Association. "The Mission Statement of the Alamo MVPA is to promote the awareness of, and interest in the history and preservation of historical military vehicles and equipment"
Who we are...
The Alamo Military Vehicle Preservation Association is a San Antonio, Texas based local group of individuals with “OD Green” running through our veins and a love for military vehicles, equipment and history. Our members have put many long hard hours in to collecting and restoring their vehicles and equipment. We as a collective group want to preserve and restore a part of history. We love to show our labors of love to anyone willing to listen. We are a structured, non-profit entity dedicated to the collection, history, restoration, preservation and display of historic military vehicles and equipment. In simple terms, we are a Military Vehicle car club. This goal is reached through:

Providing an environment whereby members can openly communicate with one another

As a group we use our influence to preserve items of historical military significance

Collecting reasonable dues for the administration of club activities and functions

Development, identification and taking advantage of opportunities to display our vehicles and equipment to the general public, and

Representing the club in a positive manner during our activities
